Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India conducts State Eligibility Test (SET) to determine eligibility for lectureship for Indian Nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession. The Test is conducted in Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Education and Commerce subjects.
Educational qualification :– Those who are appeared or pursing post graduate degree from any recognized university may apply for SET 2012. Aspirants in PG degree must required minimum 55% (50% for SC/ ST/ PC/ VC category) marks without grace.
Age Limitation :– No Age limit .
Examination Fee: –
Rs. 1000 for general candidates,
Rs. 750 for OBC candidates,
Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ Physically Challenged/ Visually Challenged candidates.

Eligible and interested aspirants may apply online through www.b-u.ac.in/set2012 on or before 31st August 2012. After successfully applying online aspirant should take online application two copies print out, one copy of attendance slip, one copy of admission card, fee challan and send to it along with aspirants all relevant documents and certificates photocopies to the "THE SECRETARY, SET2012, BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY, COIMBATORE - 641046".
